Shoat Pilsner takes 1st Place at 10th Annual Brewvitational!

June 2nd 2019

Our (already Award Winning) Shoat Pilsner has earned another medal for the case!

In early May, Sterling Pig Brewery submitted two beers to the Philadelphia Inquirer’s 10th Annual Brewvitational. It wasn’t until May 30th that we found out that one of those beers had actually won. Our World Beer Cup Award Winning Shoat Pilsner took 1st Place in the “Best New Beer” category! This will have been our second win at the brewvitational competition where we took second place last year for the “Hoppin’ Pils” a hop-back Keller Pilsner.  We’re so thrilled to be able to call this brew one of Philly’s best!
